The work of artist Audrey Montoya feels both fantastical and familiar. Straddling the fun and the strange in a perfectly cohesive and elevated way is Montoya’s forte. Her soft sculptures feel intuitive, original, and nostalgic. Her art combines subtly scary visuals with delightfully common items, and brings them to life them with a compelling humor that truly sets her art apart. We are beyond excited for her solo opening at the gallery on October 24, 2024. This will be Ms. Montoya’s first solo show featuring large scale sculptures in her signature style.
